Ascent Touring: The highest Ascent trim level comes standard with all the good stuff. Enjoy the Harman Kardon Quantum Surround Sound and STARLINK® 8.0-inch Multimedia Navigation. The interior gets elevated with the standard woodgrain-patterned accent trim.

Interior and Technology
LED headlights help the Ascent look modern. They can adjust their angle based on the vehicle's direction, and they can be very effective at illuminating dark roads around Seattle. All of the trims have raised roof rails, and some of them have panoramic moonroofs that can bring more light into the cabin. You'll find the cabin to be quite spacious. In the second and third rows, there are 38.6 and 31.7 inches of legroom, respectively. If you ever need more room for cargo, you can quickly lower the rear seats. There are many ways in which you can rearrange the cabin, and if you fold the entire second and third rows, you could have over 75 cubic feet of cargo room.
Note that some trims have eight seating positions while others have seven. These seven-passenger models have captain's chairs in their second rows, and this setup serves to make the cabin feel more open. Subaru has outfitted many Ascent trims with high-end features, which include Nappa leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and heated and ventilated front seats.
As you drive a 2023 Ascent around Redmond, take advantage of all its advanced technology. Every new model has an 11.6-inch touchscreen equipped with SiriusXM, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Some of the trims have integrated navigation and premium audio systems. The enhanced sound system includes 14 speakers and an amplifier. In addition, almost all of the Ascent SUVs have Wi-Fi capability, allowing you to enjoy a fast Internet connection when you're away from home.
Performance
The new Subaru SUV gets its power from a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine. This engine delivers 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque, so the Ascent feels very athletic and responsive. The Lineartronic continuously variable transmission does a great job, and you'll feel like you have the power you need to get you through various situations. The maximum towing capacity is impressive at 5,000 pounds. Just like most of the other Subaru models in our lineup, the Ascent comes standard with symmetrical all-wheel drive. This amenity is always ready to engage, just in case you run into slippery conditions around Kirkland. The X-MODE feature enhances traction even further, and it can turn on simply by pushing a button. Hill Descent Control and Active Torque Vectoring are other standard systems that you can appreciate as you travel around Seattle.

Safety Features
The Ascent can look out for issues when you're driving around Bothell, and if it notices certain problems, it can help you correct the situation. The standard safety suite is EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology. Some of its components include pre-collision braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and emergency steering. It also comes with adaptive cruise control. Select Ascent models offer blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and reverse automatic braking. They can have distraction mitigation systems as well, ensuring that you stay focused on the roads around Woodinville.
Financing An Ascent
With a loan, you will pay more per month than leases. However, with a loan, you can customize your vehicle with aftermarket accessories or other parts you'd like to add, since you'll own the vehicle when the loan is paid back. On top of that, when you make on-time payments, you'll raise your credit score, which is beneficial in many other financial areas.
Leasing An Ascent
A lease is perfect for any Kirkland or Woodinville driver not ready to commit to a particular vehicle, as leases only lasts for a few years. But with a lease, your maintenance costs are covered. Plus, when the lease is up, you can buy the vehicle, extend the lease, or upgrade to a newer model. Though you will have restrictions on the number of miles you can drive.
